Hobby Couture
I can’t take up any new hobby because I inevitably want the designer accessories to complement my activity.
Louis Vuitton golf set? Yes, please. {Thanks to Ashlyn of My Unrehearsed Life for the golfing heads up.}
Thus my stance against new activities. Because let’s face it, I don’t actually need Coach high top sneakers for my new hip-hop class. Really, no one needs Coach high-top sneakers.
On a side note, this same logic applies to my future planning. My couture obsession acts as excellent birth control, because until we can afford designer diaper bags, celebrity bugaboos, and a college fund, babies are a no-go for the newlyweds.
Am I the only nutcase with an obsession for all things designer? Especially the positively unnecessary things?

Decorating With Yellow
Summer has me dreaming in bright colors (this is big, as I generally stick to blacks, whites, and greys.) Today I’m on to yellow, and think it’s high time I invested in a few yellow throw pillows.

The Bodysuit
{Pins & Needles Mesh Cami bodysuit; Wildfox Indian Brace one piece bodysuit; Shop Nasty Gal Animal Instinct bodysuit; American Apparel Lace Bra bodysuit; American Apparel Jersey Cross bodysuit; Akira Sexy Deep V Neck bodysuit}
With it’s flattering form-fit shape and mesh, cut-out, and lace details, today’s bodysuits are a seemingly improved predecessor to the bodysuit of the 80s.
Every store seems to carry the spandex shirt/swim combo nowadays. ASOS also has a huge selection of bodysuits in every shape, size, and color.
Pros: Throwback is always in.
Cons: Difficulty getting in and out of – a.k.a., may need assistance peeing. (Not for the weak-bladdered.)
{1. La Perla Icon Lace bodysuit; 2. Marc Jacobs Halter bodysuit; 3. Miss Selfridge Black V Mesh bodysuit; 4. The Lake and Stars Fingerprint Stretch Silk bodysuit; 5. Miss Selfridge Black Lace bodysuit}
