I was bit by the travel bug a long time ago, and though we’re on a budget now, it certainly doesn’t stop me from dreaming in air travel, brasseries, foreign languages, the ever-popular tourist traps, rows of quaint shopping streets, and marble-lined museums.

I love the idea of incorporating vintage maps – or any maps, really – into home design, especially because the images remind me of where I’ve been and where I most definitely want to go. Plus, maps are inexpensive, but look luxe on your living room and bedroom walls.

I have a serious map obsession! I recently bought a clock that has a vintage map of Hawaii as its background!

I’ve loved the idea of using maps for inspiration and as art work for a while, especially when they are split up along a picture frame wall.
