Blue Velvet + Fall Musings

8 COMMENTSAfter getting my hands on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog over the weekend, I can’t wait for Fall! I want velvet, leather, and booties galore!
Exhibit A: my Instagram feed, documenting my obsession with every boot in the catalog, including a very sanzzy pair of blue boots.
I know that we’re right at the helm of Summer and that all common fashion rules detail a clear no velvet after Spring policy, but I’ve never really been one to stay between the lines, so why should I start now? Plus, I really really want blue velvet booties (and sandals, and loafers, and pumps), like yesterday, though perhaps I’ll wear them in the Fall. And most are on sale now. Thank you, Summer!
