Fall Fashion: Oxblood

I’m officially obsessed with the richness of Fall colors, and oxblood is no exception.  The dark maroon color is popping up everywhere this season, and though I’ve long been a fan of reds, I’ve tended to skirt maroons and oxbloods.  Come to think of it, I’m not really sure why I don’t own much in this gorgeous shade.  Sometimes we get stuck in color ruts – ahem, black, grey, cream (boring) – and forget that there’s a whole array of flattering colors.  If the deep hue seems a bit intimidating, test out the color with a great lipstick or nail polish. And if you’re ready to take the fashion plunge, these pants are fabulous!

A few of my top picks for Fall in the luxe oxblood hue:

I love this trend too, it feels so cozy for fall, but still super edgy.
