The Look for Less: d’Orsay Flats
Posted on February 25, 2013 by Lexi
8 COMMENTSI’ve fallen hard for Jenni Kayne’s d’Orsay flats. First introduced in 2012, the boldly cut flat is as close to a “sexy” flat as I’ve seen, and I’ve had a hankering for them for months now. The d’Orsay flat has quickly become a fashion favorite, and has been spotted on celebrities like Jessica Alba, Emma Roberts, and Mandy Moore. They’re those flats you never knew you needed but suddenly really really want. (Sorry about that!) Thankfully, a few seasons later, and just in time for Spring, the d’Orsay has been recreated by several different brands, and many are much more affordable options (my budget thanks you, fab designers!)

These are so cute, a great alternative to the ballerina.
Totally agree – definitely a fun change-up from the ballet flat!

I don’t know how I feel about the cut of these flats. I’ll probably fall in love with them once I see someone rocking them!

Chelsea, I totally hear you! I think it makes sense to try a less expensive pair – like the bright ones from F21 to start. :)
Woo hoo – so glad you like!
They’re so cute!
LOVE this post – I just ordered the F21 ones last week and I’m just really hoping they fit because I need a pair of flats in this style but I can’t afford the designer labels! :)
