If you’re a last minute gift shopper (ahem … Mother’s Day is on Sunday), go with the quirky – free printable mom tatts – or get to shopping with a handy dandy check-list.
For a bit of eye candy – love Kate Spade’s new online city guides.
Thinking of adding bows to my heels, Man Repeller style (sans Louboutins).
Not that I have any need for one, but I really want a rad photo-booth backdrop. (err, Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! I got you a decorated wall!)
Okay, what about an outdoor cinema party?
It’s settled – homemade graham crackers, it is.

I have big, BIG, weekend plans … it involves sweat pants and blogging. So relieved to get back in the swing of things. Don’t get me wrong, vacation is magical, but it’s also a whirlwind and the first and last few days of any trip I fret over what I still have to do, what I may have missed, and all that needs to be done when I get back. Have I mentioned my Type-A personality is ummm, very Type-A?
Anyhoo, these are a few of my {current} favorite things …
- ~ I’m going to start with Shoes. These Diane Von Furstenberg Leopard beauties are screaming my name. Woe to my budget.
- ~ I’ve been dreaming up reasons to wear and make a floral headpiece/crown, and I’m starting to think that Halloween is just too far away.
- ~ If you’re looking for a bit of pretty inspiration, this sweet-as-pie backyard wedding is just the ticket.
- ~ Sunday afternoon the fam is gathering to watch the Heat in the playoffs (a.k.a., an excuse to eat), and I’m thinking about taking this peanut-butter-and-jelly-sandwich cookie recipe out for a spin {finally!}.
- ~ Do you think if I strung doilies on our bathroom mirror my husband would notice?
- ~ Low-cal Sangria? Yes, please. Any big Cinco de Mayo plans?

I really just want a great big tent in my house — is that so much to ask?
The perfect dessert: peanut butter and jelly pie bars.
I have such a crush on this Ganni Peplum Ponte Tank. #prettyballerina
I must think of some reason to re-create this DIY metal cake bunting. Love.
Such an inspiring workspace.
Need a sweet thank you? Love this simple thanks: home-baked bread and jam.
And lastly: Neil, the Lion.

I’m in love with this perfectly simple photographic print of glitter ribbon strung around a wooden hanger. If you haven’t played around on my Pinterest, then you wouldn’t know that I have a big thing for hanger art (clothes are just so gosh darn pretty on a hanger). And now you know.
How cool is this painting-turned-interiors via Mimi + Meg? Such cool inspiration.
These Gratitude + Orange Rolls, a.k.a. sweet orange buns, are on my “must try” list. Getting to them this weekend? Doubtful.
The happiest umbrella ever.
This neon woven cuff should be on my wrist.
With my business woman hat on, how to escape the comparison trap.
And lastly, I’ll be spending the weekend packing (scrambling) for our 10-day adventure! Check out my Summer Travel Packing list.

Happy Friday, Passover, Easter, and weekend!
I thought I’d start things off with a fabulous discount … #shoppingjustified
I “met” Kari of Kari on Designs on Etsy, by way of stalking her Etsy shop. I adore all of her stunning creations and I’m a true sucker for a monogram (it’s the tiniest part of me that desperately wants to rock Lily Pulitzer, Jack Rogers, and a bellini.) Back on track … Kari creates custom personalized monogram and printed tech covers (i.e., gorgeous and preppy cases for your iphone, ipad, kindle, mouse pad, etc.) I recently snatched up a black and white chevron print with pink monogram iphone tough cover (the tough part is oh-so-necessary for my clumsy hands), and I am delighted to share an incredible DISCOUNT with all of you, my fabulous, tech-savvy readers. Use code: GLITTER20 for 20% OFF everything in Kari’s shop!
A few other things I’m crushing on …
A Wildfox Couture Inspired DIY by Sprinkles in Springs, using a bull head and a ram skull. Holy awesome, Batman.
Clémence of Oh the Lovely Things introduced me to Natasha’s blog, Paper Crowns, and it is just beautiful. (Oh the Lovely Things is unbelievably inspired as well.) Weekend reading = check.
I’ll be attempting the Zabar’s candied matzah brittle recipe tomorrow (wish me luck!) + I’ve been drooling over this salted caramel Easter popcorn recipe all week!

1. I’m currently obsessing over all things ceramic and these dainty geometric pastel bowls are no exception. Anne Jørgensen ceramic bowls via retrovilla.
2. My walls are painfully bare, and we’ve been moved in for at least 6 months now (a.k.a., no excuse.) For starters, this “I Love You To The Moon” Print via Yellow Button Studio on Etsy.
3. That fabulous soft clutch? It’s the Miu Miu Oversized Nappa Clutch, and I want it bad! {Image found here.}
4. I love Easter. Also, I’m Jewish. But that doesn’t stop me from obsessing over pastels, decorating eggs, and pretending I have any idea what Easter is all about. These doodle eggs by Alisa Burke will most definitely be on my I-don’t-actually-celebrate-Easter-but-do To Do List.

First up is a wallpaper-mâché deer head (and we all know how much I LOVE papier-mâché): Handmade by artist Jennifer Khoshbin, the series is called Handmade Wilderness – The Paper Deer Head Project. She creates the deer heads herself – with Papier-mâché and decoupage on resin cast heads. She then covers them in wallpaper and calls them her ‘modern trophies’ — SO cool! {See them all on Etsy at Ruby’s Lounge // Story Via A Gifted Existence}

Funny, Erin, of Erin Ever After, and I have the same DIY to-do list running (well mine has another three-to-four-hundred projects on the list). {1. painted gold stripe vases // 2. adding pom pom trim to curtains // 3.hanging bulb sconce} (Images: Erin Ever After, Via: Jolene Sullivan, Grosgrain Fabulous, Bungalow 5)

These stenciled wood floors are incredible. That is all.

And finally, since I seem to be on a home + design kick anyway, let me introduce you to Free Crappy Portraits. You heard that right, send in your favorite picture, and the oh-so-errrr-talented artists over at FreeCrappyPortraits.com, will turn your photo into a somewhat crappy masterpiece. You’re welcome!

Friday Link Love: The Quasi-Rockstar Edition
This dress inexplicably has my heart all aflutter. Really, it makes no sense – it’s an exaggerated body mullet; also, according to the outside world, I have no thighs, they’ve been safely hidden since 1999. But I’m drawn, like a magpie to the light. It’s dramatic and funky and I’m thinking it’s time to re-introduce squats into my lame excuse for an exercise regimen. *Naturally, I’ll wear the dress/bodysuit hybrid with tights. {Ulyana Sergeenko images courtesy of Vogue; found here.}

And while we’re on the subject of rockstar dressing, don’t miss this funky pairing on Glitter Weddings. (Kicking myself for not rocking a blazer at my own wedding.) {Dress: Vera Wang // Jackets: JOSEPH Blazer // Malene Birger Courlan Blazer // Alexander McQueen Peplum Jacket // A.L.C. Fitted Blazer}
Currently obsessed (okay, always obsessed) with skulls. I think I read too much Anne Rice as a youngster. (In adulthood, it’s taken on a goth fashion spin.) And now, I’m nose deep in the first of The Mortal Instruments series, City of Bones …. also obsessed. {Alexander McQueen Twin Skull Bracelet in Gold + Silver} {Image here}
Yes, I think Phil Collins is a rockstar. Also, Phillip Phillips’ American Idol cover of “In the Air Tonight” is incredible. Go on – watch it.

And lastly, wishing a very happy birthday to Dr. Seuss, whom I will forever adore. Thanks for giving my imagination a colorful jump-start.

I am SO relieved that today is Friday! I NEEDED a weekend. And, this Sunday the Oscars will be on, i.e., red carpet drool-a-thon. I’m ready!

Today I’ll be attending The Limited‘s grand reopening at my local mall in Miami – and I am SO EXCITED. Details and a fantastic giveaway to follow …
I stumbled upon Shannon’s blog + her brilliant recommendation of this song. Lana Del Ray’s ‘Video Games” is an amazing song, her voice is silky smooth, and the video is beautiful.

And lastly, I’ll be attempting this perfect bun over the weekend. All signs point to a big flop, but I’ll be using this nifty gym sock cheat … wish me luck!
Happy Happy Weekend, lovelies!

Happy long weekend! Let’s jump right in, shall we.

I never would have dreamed up “bookshelf styling” as a form of, well, “styling.” But that bookshelf (and all of it’s other shiny counterparts on Pinterest), have me rethinking my stacks of books in Targét (pronounced with the pseudo-French pronunciation, tar-zhay, of course) shelving.
I suppose I could at least put in a little effort … maybe my endlessly coveted gold piggy?

These DIY confetti cards over on Design love Fest have my heart all aflutter …

The ladies at the Free People offices are the best dressed human beings alive. I follow Free People’s Instagram feed, mostly a collection of outfit outfit recaps and the wonderful awesomeness that is the life of a Free People guru.
Meet the updated Free People Floral Skinny Cords.

And finally: a rant. Is it just me or are CAPTCHA codes – the codes you have to re-write on blog comments, ticket purchases, etc. to prove that you’re not a robot (seriously, I’m not a robot) – completely awful and mostly illegible? ( … or maybe I am a robot?)
