Fall Fashion: Oxblood
I’m officially obsessed with the richness of Fall colors, and oxblood is no exception. The dark maroon color is popping up everywhere this season, and though I’ve long been a fan of reds, I’ve tended to skirt maroons and oxbloods. Come to think of it, I’m not really sure why I don’t own much in this gorgeous shade. Sometimes we get stuck in color ruts – ahem, black, grey, cream (boring) – and forget that there’s a whole array of flattering colors. If the deep hue seems a bit intimidating, test out the color with a great lipstick or nail polish. And if you’re ready to take the fashion plunge, these pants are fabulous!

NYFW Streetstyle – September 2012
Though I drool over runway looks and pretend I’ll someday get the chance to wear some of the world’s most beautiful runway finale dresses, it’s the New York Fashion Week streetstyle that really resonates every fashion week. This year’s streetstyle looks were glamorous, bold, full of color and pattern, and humidity-friendly.
This shot of Taylor Tomasi Hill, style icon extraordinaire, shot by none other than famed streetstyle photographer, Tommy Ton is one of my favorites. TTH looks just effortless and un-rushed amidst the hurrying crowd and rain (and there was plenty of it this NYFW!)

Color Crave: Coral
Coral is having a bit of a moment for me. Probably with summer coming to an end (crazy, right?) and my general allegiance to black and grey, I’m jumping on the bus just a little late with my summer color swoon, but I’m always late to the party, so go figure.
