Valentine’s Day {Wish} Gift List
With Valentine’s Day only two weeks away, I thought it was just about that time to post my Valentine’s Day wishlist so that you all could add to your own lists, give me suggestions of other V-day-worthy goodies, and maybe, just maybe, my own hubby will feel so inclined to check my blog for “research” and order me ten to twelve sets of gold flatware. A girl can dream, right? (And you know you’re growing up when you want flatware more than anything else on the annual day of love.)
I’m dreaming in cozy sweaters and this J.Crew cashmere sweater is just Darling! {J.Crew Darling Cashmere Sweater}
I can’t ever seem to get enough Marc by Marc Jacobs bags – cute, relatively affordable for a designer bag, crazy durable … and this one comes in bright cherry red! {MARC BY MARC JACOBS ‘Classic Q – Percy’ Crossbody Bag}
Vintage Chanel. Need I say more? {WGACA Vintage Vintage Chanel Heart Cuff}
Dainty I Love You rings, because on most days (okay, every day) it’s nice to see that little reminder. {Jennifer Zeuner I Heart U Ring Set}
There’s really nothing Kate Spade that I don’t want, especially on Valentine’s Day (it’s all just so dainty and sweet!), but this bib necklace is playful and fun … and I really really love it! {Kate Spade Cameo Jewels Bib Necklace}
As for the gold flatware, I’m going to keep posting about it until my husband gets the hint. {West Elm Gold Flatware}
Because a girl can never have too many panties. {Honeydew Panty}
And because I really needed to put these fabulous sandals into a shopping round-up, and Spring is still too far away. {Loeffler Randall Lolly Mignon Leopard and Silver Sandal}
I have an addiction to red lipstick and gloss. There I’ve said it. And now I want this one. {Giorgio Armani ‘Lip Maestro’ Matte Lacquer in Laque de Chine or Code}
This glossy lipstick pouch seems fitting too. {Erin Fetherston Lipstick Pouch}
In truth, all I really want is a sweet card from my hubby … and a girly movie marathon. {Sugar Paper You + Me Card}
And maybe a s’more.

Birthday Wishlist
In just a few days, September 1st, to be exact, I will begin my birthday festivities. I say “begin” because I like to draw out my celebrating as long as humanly possible (i.e., however long I can convince the other human in my household, hubby, that he should be showering me with gifts). And this year, just after my birthday, we’re jetting off to NYC for New York Fashion Week – a clear sign that my birthday celebrations should last well into a week of New York fun. So this year’s aspirational birthday wishlist is NYFW-inspired. And of course, friends and family – feel free to take note.
At the top of my shopping wishlist: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

Holiday Wishing and a Great Big Wishlist
Holidays are an excuse to eat too much, work out less, and make list after list of holiday wishes. Though the new year is still a few weeks away, I am also crafting a new me (or rather, a slightly revamped me.) After the three-week eating fest (stressing “after“), I will walk more – there’s much needed entertainment on my walks and I could use a little sunshine (Edward Cullen’s got nothing on me … though sadly I am without the built-in sparkle … and yes, I just referenced those Twilight movies.) Also, I will wear more lipstick. I will bite my tongue, but speak when I know that I should. I will attempt to rock a more modern, edgy – a little less Blair, a little more Serena (gasp) – look. I will learn new things. I will go out on a limb and take risks. I will save, like a responsible adult … for a shiny new toy (preferably an Ipad in mustard yellow Gucci armor or really anything by Marc Jacobs.) And I will continue to make wishlists, dream lists, attainable goal lists, and ingredient lists – because all of my post-it notes, word documents, Pinterest boards, and Photoshop spreads help me to dream bigger and accomplish more, and that’s pretty cool! (Nerd alert.)
Oh right – the Far Fetch list – because I am kind, and can offer my gift list all in one tidy storefront. You’re welcome, Santa (err, Chanukah Harry.)
